With reggae-esque melodies and unique vocals reminiscent of the late (great) Amy Winehouse, Wild Belle humbly impressed as they opened the Outside Lands night show at The Rickshaw Stop Friday night.

At midnight Milo Greene hit the stage ready to get the mellowed out crowd rocking! Though self described as cinematic-pop, Milo Greene has an undeniable indie feel and helped us transition nicely from the Wild Belle set with their soft buildups scattered throughout "Moddison."

Robbie Arnett, Graham Fink, Andrew Heringer and Marlana Sheetz shared lead vocals and backing vocal duties through out the set, often switching instruments on stage and it was all done very seamlessly. They made it look easy and were so care free it made more enjoyable to watch them!

Visibly having fun as they ricocheted off of each other around the small stage, Milo Greene played score-worthy track after score-worthy track from their self-titled debut LP. Generating cheers from fans when asked who was at Outside Lands that day and even making a handful of female fans shriek when they acknowledged their San Mateo roots Milo Greene's energy as a whole is pleasantly non-pompous.

Kudos to the band for delivering a solid performance at the Outside Lands night show before performing at the Festival! I can only imagine how Milo Greene must have warmed things up during their set yesterday on the Sutro Stage at Outside Lands!
Once this run is done Milo Greene says they are taking a break from touring to work on their next album and when that's done they'll hit the road yet again!
