The dancey, star-crossed love song, "Hold On" by The xx has been out for a few weeks but today marks date of the anticipated release of their third studio album, I See You!
With a glimmering, forlorn maturity, the three Londoners have grown from the romanticized introvertism of 2012's Coexist and the change up suits them well. I See You is a ying-yang of hopeful and wistful with high and lo tempos. It's a natural progression for the band, one which will see their fanbase boom!
The accompanying tour for the new album is already under way over seas and they've announced a pretty extensive North American tour too! Along with some sets at upcoming music fests, The xx will be headlining shows of their own starting April 15th at The Bill Gramham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco between Coachella weekends!
