On November 11th, 2016 Sleigh Bells dropped their 4th studio album, Jessica Rabbit. Five days later while the leading lady battled laryngitis, the hyper-punk duo rocked the Mezzanine in downtown San Francisco.

If you missed their riot of a rock show nine months ago have no fear.
Alexis and Derek are slated to play on the first day at the 10th Annual Outside Lands Music Festival in Golden Gate Park. And a few hours after they rock the Twin Peaks stage . . . ? Hold on to your pants because they're playing at the same small venue that they had to cancel two sold-out shows at last year.
That's right Sleigh Bells are playing an OSL night show one week from today on Friday August 11th at The Independent!
They rocked Mezzanine but they're about to rock even harder and here's why:
- Again, the most obvious reason is that last time they were here Alexis had laryngitis she did her best
and didn't sound bad but this time she'll sound so much better.
- Jessica Rabbit has been out for a while now so fans will be more familiar with the setlist which always make shows more fun.
- The Independent is more intimate than Mezzanine and with the way he shreds and she belts, they might just blow the roof off the place.
- This show being on the heels of their set at Outside Lands adds a heightened element of excitement in and of itself.
Tickets are still available so act fast! This may very well be the show of all 2017 shows and please, do not forget to bring ear plugs!
